Dr. Joern Kreutzfeld was born on April 5th, 1970. After finishing his apprenticeship with a bank he started to study law at the University of Hamburg. There he passed successfully his first state exam in 1997. In 1998 he graduated with a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
Back in Hamburg he completed his doctorate (Dr. jur.) on a topic relating international commercial law. Besides he started his legal clerkship with the focus on commercial law in 1999 which he completed with the second state exam in 2001. The same year he was called to the bar at the District Court Hamburg and he started to work for a well-known legal office in Hamburg. The following year he completed successfully a course in tax law.
The main emphasis of his legal career at Roggelin Witt Wurm Dieckert has been so far in contract law as well as private construction and architect law. Dr. Kreutzfeld is also visiting lecturer at the Hafencity Universität Hamburg, Department Bauingenieurwesen. Further more he is a so-called Specialized Attorney in Construction and Architect Law. Dr. Kreutzfeld is member of the German-South African Lawyers Association.
He is also associate of the co-partnership at Roggelin & Partner.
